the luggage room pizzeria

i must say, i absolutely love the pizza crust here!  it's got that chewy-ness that's very rare to find with pizza crusts.  sooo gooood.  

we started off with some bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese...

the flavors were awesome, but the bacon wasn't crispy at all =( and we were supposed to start off with it, but we got it after the pizza came out because they forgot.  they took the charges off our bill =) on their own, so that was nice.

hubby had the gladiator: spicy italian sausage + salumeria biellese pepperoni + red sauce. 

he added an egg, at no charge!

i had the shattuck ave.: burrata + garlic + piquillo peppers + balsamic reduction.

yuuum!

oh and before you leave, they offer you free cookies.  they're so good, i wanted to take the entire plate!  i def took more than one!  teehee.

chocolate chip + sea salt.  FTW!

we will definitely be back.  i already know what i want to order next - the padre: prosciutto di san daniele + figs + maytag blue cheese + arugula.  check out their menu.

some recent fun... i have a love/hate relationship with crackle/shatter polish, depending on the color combo =p.   and i heart glitter, but why (oh why?) does it have to be such a pain to remove?  boo.

hello kitty + vans!

stopped by the vans store while we are at the mall, earlier.  turns out it's brand spanking new!  so new that they didn't even have the women's sizes in the store yet (arriving tomorrow).  the lady asked me if i wanted to try the kids sizes, and lucky me, they fit. =)  paying $37 vs. $50?  yes, please!  of course, it's limited edition (duh)... so once they're sold out, bye bye.

never thought i'd ever buy a pair of vans again...but, i just couldn't resist.

but it didn't end up being as hard as i had thought it would be (yay).
